Primark Eyelash Curler Review

Hello everyone, Hope your having a smashing day!

So today I am reviewing..... The primark eyelash curlers. I have tried so many eyelash curlers from shu uemura ,channel and lancome to drugstore ones ect... I believe that Primark is an only UK shop so I doubt you'll be able to grab these amazing £1 eyelash curlers from the US.

My thoughts,

So at first when I heard of Primark launching a beauty line all I could think of was its going to be so crap! But after watching masses of YouTubers talk about there experience with these eyelash curlers I just had to try it myself. First of all I like that it has a lot of space for your eyelashes to be curled and that they give you an extra rubber bit in case your last one breaks or becomes grimy. It has a really durable handle which you can clasp about 2 fingers very easily and most important of all it really does work, it curls your lashes without giving them that harsh line which shows where you've curled them and it really is just amazing.

Conclusion,

So as you can probably tell I absolutely love these eyelash curlers, they work amazingly an I just love them. The Shu uemura ones are still my favourite but I think for those of you on a cheaper budget the Primark ones are just as good. I totally recommend this and all I can say is don't judge something on its price!

This is how my lashes look curled without mascara:

A Semi-Tutorial

Hey everyone,

So today I decided to do a picture tutorial on a grey/brown smokey eye. As a lot of you might not know is that I used to do Youtube video's on tutorials, hauls and life ect.. basically all based around makeup, but YouTube is so difficult to fit in around my hectic life so I decided to private my videos and start this blog! I sure will be uploading video's in the foreseeable future but the for the moment your stuck here with me.
Any how, so after that long into here's the tutorial:

so here's what I used:

1. I used Lancome Teint Miracle foundation in rose 2 to even out my complexion
2. Next I used Hot wired from my sleek primer palette 600 all over my lid
3. Then I took the Louise Young essential eye shadow palette and used Pom Pom the 3rd colour from the left on my crease.
4. Using my MAC 217 brush I blended the shadows together
5. Taking my Loreal super carbon gloss in back I lined my lash line adding a small flick
6. At this stage I used my Loreal telescopic mascara in magnetic black for a lengthening effect
7.After that I used my 2 true lashes in natural with the DUO adhesive which I purchased from MAC
8. After wiping away any fall out I used my Jerome Alexander Concealer stick in ivory (the lightest shade)
9. For my brows I used my Flormar brown pencil in 401
10. Now taking my MAC fascinating eye khol and I lined my waterline.

Now for the lips and cheeks:

On my lips I used Maybelline Moisture lipstick in pinky beige, over that I used MUA shade 5 lip gloss to make my lips look fuller.

For my cheeks I used Benefit bella bamba blush and Benefit hoola bronzer!

what do you think?
would you try this out?

The Best Drugstore/Highstreet Products : MUA Nail Varnishe's

Hi guys, so this is the first of a new series: The best of Drugtore/Highstreet Products and I decided to go with the best of the best, MUA Nail Polishes which are normally £1 - (I know! incredible and affordable prices).
MUA is a British company which is quite new in the beauty industry and is appearing in almost all drugstores (Superdrug's), Most of their products are sold on average £1-£7, not only are they priced so low but the quality of most of their products is just amazing! The pigmentation of the shadows is phenomenal and I am becoming addicted to their lip glosses.

So I chose two of my favourite Nail Polish colours from their collection:

Firstly,

I chose Shade 4 from their permanent collection

The consistency is amazing and it last about 3 days without chipping considering its only £1.
This colour appears as a florescent coral and is perfect for spring.

Secondly,

This polish is from their 'Love hearts' collection, this shade is called U & I named after one of the 'love hearts' sweets. It comes at an amazing £2 and it is just so good! I love the colour yellow, this is an amazing sunny colour without being neon and blinding!

I also own the 'Butter London Cheeky Chops' which is an amazing sunny colour but is almost £20 which is an extortionate price for most of you readers on a budget, when I found this MUA nail polish I was literally kicking myself for wasting my money on a nail polish I could have bought for a tenth of that price.

Anyway all I can say is I really love MUA nail polishes, they work amazingly and are just as good as higher brands!

I hope this review has helped you decide whether or not you like their nail polishes.

What do you think, Do you like the nail polishes or are you considering buying them?

Revlon Lip Butter In Raspberry Pie Review!

Hi guys!
So I'm really sorry that I couldn't upload a blog post for like 2 weeks but I have been really busy with all of exams and preparing for the end of year parties ect... So today I decided to do a little review on the Revlon lip butter in Raspberry pie since I recently purchased my first lip butter ever at Superdrug in the UK.

So I heard A LOT of hype around the 'Revlon lip butters' especially from USA YouTubers and blogers since the product was released earlier in America, Everyone on record really loved the lip butters and were so impressed by them. I normally don't follow hyped products but I decided to try these out because the hype around them was HUGE! The product has been in stores in UK for about a month and it has been sold out everywhere! So last week I stumbled across some at the Superdrug in Peckham (This store is really big and full of the lip butters!) and I just had to buy one. I was deciding between Tutti frutti, Raspberry pie and Candy apple. I decided to go with Raspberry pie but initially I wanted to go with Candy apple but I have recently splurged on a red lipstick so I chose this gorgeous pink shade!

Do I like it?

Hell yes, this is an amazing product the texture is so smooth and the colour power is amazing I expected it to be really sheer but it seriously isn't. The lip butter has lasted me all day during class and other hectic things in my life. It is amazing I am definitely going to buy every shade I like (basically all of them). So yeah! these are soooo freekin amazing, I really cant express the love I feel for them (<--awkward), they are just sensational. They last all day and are so nourishing, after the colour finally fades it almost leaves a subtle pink stain. Just sensational! I am now a total follower of the Revlon lip butters and I am so going to follow all the Hyped beauty products ever!

Summary!

So basically I totally love this product and am so happy that I purchased it!
I am so going to buy this again!

What do you think, do you like the Revlon Lip Butters!?

BB Creams, Worth The Hype?

Hi everyone,

So I decided to do this short blog post because the hype around BB creams is HUGE this season and I honestly don't think this product is worth the hype.

No7 Beautiful skin BB Cream.

Firstly BB creams are basically re-packaged Tinted Moisturisers ,quoted my Sam Chapman (pixiwoo). Most BB creams are not good quality or coverage and are probably quite a hefty price. They all state on the packaging that it is a sheer coverage, yes it is but I don't understand the reason for a BB cream then because you could have saved your money and bought a sheer coverage luminous foundation which you can build up the coverage.

Skin79 BB Cream.

If your like me and your 'a do it yourself' person then this is a great way of making a BB Cream out of basic makeup you should all own:

-Make sure you have a clean container to use
-Add around 6 pumps of your favourite foundation
-Add about a TBSL and a half your favourite sun screan
-Mix all of these products together
-If you like a dewy texture then do this step, add some MAC Fix Plus to the mixture.
-For the last step add some mineral foundation and mix it up

And your done! A sheer foundation/Tinted Moisturiser/BB cream.

Fairy Cake Recipe.

     Ingredients:

     For the icing:
hundreds and thousands, or other cake decorations

    Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4 and line 2 x 12-hole fairy cake tins with paper cases.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl until pale. Beat in the eggs, a little at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Fold in the flour using a large metal spoon. Add a little milk until the mixture is a soft dropping consistency and spoon the mixture into the paper cases until they are half full.
  4. For the icing, sift the icing sugar into a large mixing bowl and stir in enough water to create a smooth mixture. Stir in the food colouring.
  5. To ice the fairy cakes, drizzle the icing over the cakes, sprinkle with decorations and set aside until the icing hardens.

I tried this recipe at home and I managed to make 20 fairy cakes.
Here are some images of how they turned out!
