The Beauty & Brains Tag!

Favourite book:

Love ya babe! by Chris Higgins: a story about a girl who is facing a rough time at home and at school! really enjoyable and for girls/women ONLY!

Favourite quotation:

"Why so serious?" - This quote is from 'The dark night' featuring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker (who unfortunately past away in 2008). Every time I hear this it just makes me laugh and remember Heath Ledger (an amazing actor).

English or Maths?

English all the way - I used to love Maths but ever since I started high school/Secondary I hate it but this is mostly because of my variously strict teachers.

Science or Art?

Ok a lot of you might disagree with me but I kind of find science/biology because you get to learn about changes in your bodies and most of all I love the experiments (blowing up stuff).

Name five musical artist that have changed your life:

- Maroon 5
- Adele
- Marina and the diamonds
- Beyonce
- Conor Maynard

Favourite and least favourite subject at school:

Favourite: Resistant Materials - because you were able to build stuff which is so cool!
Least favourite: Graphics - I hated it because of my teacher and it is generally boring!

Favourite 'celebrity' with a brain:

I love Angelina jolie because she understands and respects the hardship other people are going through. She also adopted loads of children which shows that she is an affectionate person.

If you could study anywhere, where would it be?

I would love to study in Cambridge.

What is your nerdy little secret?

I read a book every night for 2 hours.

Favourite beauty guru[s] who you admire for more than their love for beauty/fashion:

My favourite beauty guru is:..... Pixi2woo [Tanya Burry] - she is amazing and so kind and just beautiful inside and out.

If your blog could not focus on beauty/fashion, what would it be?

I would focus on, helping others with subjects at school or I would talk about everything going on in the world.

Name some things that you're obsessed with that other people would find strange or geeky:

I am obsessed with saying the word 'sick' and I absolutely love Pringles - I could eat them all day!

Name three people who inspire you:

- Adele
- Lily Collins
- Candice Swanepoel

Who is your cartoon soul mate?

Scooby Doo from Scooby Doo!

Avengers Assemble Review!

Oh my gosh, I have been waiting to write this for like forever! I have given most of you readers time to watch it and now here are my thoughts!

*WARNING!* Some spoilers ahead!

My thoughts,

This film is freekin amazing, I went and watched it the day it came out and it was like Harry Potter all over again, the Cineworld (cinema) was packed with Avengers fans (including ME!). The film really does climax and the tension grows throughout the film, The imagery is amazing but the story can tend to be a bit 'slow' at the beginning. Everything about this is amazing, but a warning to all barbie pink, romance lovers you will hate this, my friends walked out of the cinema. Isn't that is totally illegal, I mean its only the best film ever - they quoted "its so boring, all of that fighting and supernatural stuff". I know they are so stupid! Anywhere there I was sitting alone again... ok enough about me. I have to commend the actors (CHRIS HEMSWORTH ❤)  they took on the challenge and without them this film would not be as spectacular as it was. Before I carry on Robert Downey Jr is so funny he acted so casually while his world was literally dying/being attacked! Uhhh it was amazing!

My favourite character,

By far it has to be The Hulk he is totally amazing, there is a part in the film when Loki (the bad guy) starts giving Hulk a little lecture and Hulk grabs Loki and starts throwing him around it was so hilarious. Hulk in his human and supernatural form are as funny as each other. The only part I didn't understand was at first he couldn't control his anger but near to the end he had suddenly learned how to... weird I know (I am little bit picky). All in all I love all the characters and I think Scarlet Johansson did an amazing job and she proved me wrong because I thought she only suited romance film.

Summary,

Honestly I watched it 3 times now and I just cant wait till its on Blu-Ray and DVD. You probably guessed that I am a HUGE fan, I have been watching the cartoon for ages and wishing for a film and I guess it came true. If most of you readers waited till the end (after the casting ect..) you will have seen a small clip hinted a sequel to this amazing film. I CANT WAIT! =) Thats all I can say,  I loved the film and I just had to express that with all of you.

Pür Minerals Inspire, Reflect & Celebrate palette Review - Better Than The Naked Palettes?

Hi everyone!

First of all sorry for the long post. So judging by the title of this post your all probably cursing me! I know that a lot of you swear by the urban decay naked 1 & 2 palettes but in my honest opinion I find a lot of the colours too shimmery and not suitable for everyday wear. Don't get me wrong for the colours your getting in the naked palettes the price is reasonable but I just find this a bit better.

What you get,

- 15 highly pigmented eye shadows
   6 matte shades and 9 shimmer/shine shadows
- A free booklet sowing you examples of easy looks to achieve at home.
- Easy to work with blend-able shadows.
- 15 wearable colours.
- Great dupes fro UD naked palettes and MAC shadows.
- price ranges from £20 to £27 available at QVC and the Pür Minerals website.

This palette contains three sections;

Inspire - filled with cool greys, whites and blacks, Reflect - 5 gold/brown warm sparkly colours and Celebrate - 5 shadows consisting a fun bright green an off yellow colour and three matte and shimmer browns. It is meant to take you through from day to night. This palette is a universal skin tone palette so it is amazing on everyone! The actual shadows are minerals that means they wont harm your skin because they are made of natural substances, they do not contain harsh chemicals which will harm sensitive skin like mine.

3 looks from each section,

Inspire:

Reflect:

Celebrate:

And her is the little booklet you receive with your product,

Here are my favourite 5 colours:-

L-R= Olivenite (my top fav colour ever), Gold dust (woodwinked MAC dupe), Spiced Mica, Chocolate Topaz, Burgndy Malachite.

And finally her is my other palette on the left from last year I've only hit pan on a couple of colours and I use this every day;

Product Summary,
Round Up - An amazing palette for everyone

Best For - Everyday/bridal/travelling palette

Availability - Normally £20 to £30 - you can purchase this via Pur minerals website.

Pigmentation - (10/10) Freekin amazing!
